a reminder:

little brother simply cannot print everything that is submitted to us. 

often, we will see the aesthetic of an issue going one way, and we will try and fit in submissions based on the majority of works that we are printing. 

we completely appreciate all of the support and love from people who choose to read us and write for us, but please do not be offended if we do not print your submission. we may in fact be keeping it on hand for a future issue. 

please be kind, we have the right to compile our zines the way we want without fear of insult or harassment from contributors.

Well, March is almost over, and April 15th is fast-approaching, guys and gals! This means two more weeks til the deadline for our second issue and we are SO EXCITED about it. Seriously. We love all of you for sending us your amazing work! And we would love to love those of you who haven’t yet…just DO IT! We know you’re hiding something fabulous in there.

Speaking of which,  here’s a shout out to the extremely talented Matthew Woodson.  He submitted a real gem to Issue #2.  Really, Matthew… you mustn’t flatter us! But we like it.

ZINE FEST IS TODAY!

little brother will be at zine fest today, along with dear deer wolf bear shark! 

if you are in the area, it would be very smart of you to stop by and check out all of the creative people who are exhibiting. there are going to be some amazing people there, as well as raffles, scavenger hunts, and prizes. you do not want to miss this. unless you have a heart of stone or a weekend job. 

where is it?: columbia college’s conaway center, 1104 s. wabash

does it cost money?: hell no, dawg. zine fest is free and easy. 

what time, bro?: 10am-5pm

both shaylah and josh will be there hanging out and selling our first issue for a mere $4. we will also have postcards available for your pleasure.

allow us to wax nostalgic for just a moment..

route eighty-eight leading west into dekalb, illinois…the old stomping ground. 

being back there after more than 3 years away was a strange thing.

but hey! if you are in the area tomorrow (saturday) night, go to The House on Lincoln Hwy for Dear Deer Wolf Bear Shark’s zine party! i would love to be there, but i suppose i’ll just have to wait for Zine Fest to hang out with the amazing Brayton Cameron.
